Smart Straightforward Mare

Flint does basic flatwork, she has three balanced flashy paces and carries herself well. She hasn’t done much schooling but is a working progress and she’s taking it all in her stride. She happily pops a cross pole. She doesn’t rush, she has a scopey and careful jump. The bigger the better. She has ran over hurdles previously. She is a quiet straightforward ride, more slow than go and takes the leg. She is still green in some aspects of being a riding horse but this will come with time and practice. Currently in light general work. Happily ridden and looked after by a mature lady whilst in training. She has been known to pull the odd face and likes to swish her tail but this is all. She enjoys being groomed, made a fuss of and would benefit from more one to one time. Has hacked out alone or in company around open fields & lanes but hasn’t done loads of this either. She has seen all types of traffic when walking to the gallop daily. Lives in & out in company. Good to box, travel & shoe (with a patient farrier.) No previous injuries. No sarcoids. No blemishes. No lumps or bumps. No vices. Not suitable for a novice or children due to her age. As she is a homebred her owners would enjoy knowing how she is getting on. She could run again but hasn’t shown enough to warrant continuing with and we are confident she’d relish being a riding horse more. No loans. No payment plans.
