We are looking for a 15hh - 15.2hh horse as the next step up for my 12yr old son (and for mum to ride too!)

Our dream horse would be an all-rounder with pony club and trail hunting experience (7yrs +) . It needs to be willing and forward going – the jockey does not mind a bit of speed, as long as he has brakes. He is a slight, gentle, soft-handed rider. This horse needs to really enjoy its cross-country and be willing and able to take on tricky and challenging courses of 80cm+. My son can still trail hunt his existing pony so it could be a horse he can grow into. Meanwhile, Mum would like to hack and trail hunt it. We would be open to something slightly younger (nothing younger than 7yrs) as long as it has a sensible head. It needs to be able to live out most of the time in a herd and be easy to do. Ideally not grey as we have two of those and I can’t face another….but might be persuaded for the right horse. We are based in Herts with the Flamstead Pony Club and can offer a long-term 5* family home of pony club fun, hacking, competing, tetrathlon and trail hunting, with another two boys coming on behind.
