Description

6 year old homebred mare. Huge jump Very active paces Green but all the basics in place Barefoot

Luna is a 6 year old homebred mare mare who had a foal at 4 so is just starting her education but shows lots of talent and a great attitude. XC schooled ditches , water , steps no problem. Huge powerful jump and she is learning to see her own stride. Has done mini ODE and was beautifully well behaved away from home. Left on her own on the box with no drama whatsoever. Sired by Murkas Gem who was a clone of the famous Gem Twist( a gelding who was on the US Olympic squad and was so phenomenal that they cloned him so he could pass on his genes) Her dam had a very similar jumping technique which is why we chose him. Luna has really active hind leg and neat scopey jump. Hacks out on her own or with others. Has been to camp and to clinics. She is safe and not sharp but still very green so needs someone knowledgeable to further her education. Lives out in a herd at the moment and is definitely top dog. She’s delightful in a stable , stands calmly to mount and readjust girth etc. Barefoot Travels happily in small lorry - we’ve never tried her in a trailer Priced to sell but as we do more with her this will increase.
