Extremely difficult sale of a much loved pony Elvis 12.2hh Full up | 9 year old | Gelding Elvis is a truly special pony and the sort that is incredibly hard to find. A confident child’s hunting pony and all-rounder with a huge heart and a very scopey jump. He absolutely loves his job and has given us the most amazing memories over the last year. He has completed a full season with the Ross Harriers and has also been out with the Ledbury and Monmouthshire. Elvis is fantastic out hunting — stands quietly at the meet, is excellent with hounds, happy to stand and watch the field go off, will happily do gates, and stays out all day. He’s comfortable anywhere in the field, keeps up at the front, and will jump absolutely anything asked of him. He has even given leads over some fairly trappy fences. Although greener in the school, Elvis is very willing and a quick learner and would make a super little event pony or PC all-rounder with further schooling. He has also done fun rides and thoroughly enjoys getting out and about. He hacks alone and in company and is completely bombproof in heavy traffic. He will lead from another horse and has even carried me whilst leading my big hunter from him! Although he’s keen, he is not strong and does prefer a rider with a lighter hand. Elvis is a whizzy pony and enjoys having a job to do therefore he is best suited to a confident child wanting to go out and have fun. Good to shoe, load, clip, wash etc Vaccinations up to date Hunts in front shoes but currently barefoot Easy keeper — lives on fresh air and hunter all season with no hard feed. Right home is absolutely essential as this wonderful pony is genuinely one in a million and will give a very lucky child endless amounts of fun and confidence.
