Witchill Sophisticat (Buddy) – Quality Buckskin Gelding – Superb Pony Racing Prospect 13hh | 9-year-old Buckskin Gelding | PRA Qualified Witchill Sophisticat (Buddy) is a striking and talented buckskin gelding with a wealth of experience across a variety of disciplines. He has successfully hunted, show jumped, cross-country schooled and competed in Pony Club dressage. Last season, Buddy also enjoyed success in local showing classes at agricultural shows across Shropshire and Mid-Wales, winning Reserve Champion and several red rosettes. Importantly, Buddy is PRA (Pony Racing Authority) qualified, having already met the training and competency requirements to compete in official pony racing, making him an exciting and ready-made prospect for a young rider wishing to enter the sport. Buddy has also enjoyed dressage lessons with highly respected Irish international dressage rider Belinda Brereton, further developing his flatwork and versatility. A genuine and talented pony with no vices, he is a busy ride and is therefore not suitable for a novice rider. He is best suited to a confident and competent jockey. However my 10yo daughter was a nervous rider and he has taught her so much. She loves him and now appreciates his speed. With his athleticism, enthusiasm and experience across multiple disciplines, Buddy would make a superb pony racing prospect whilst also offering plenty of fun as a versatile all-round pony.
