Super Event Horse Prospect

Luminescent Lion is a lovely, well-bred young horse all the ingredients to make a smart event horse.

Lumi, is a 15.3hh, 4-year-old gelding who has all the ingredients to make a super grassroots event horse, with the potential to go further. Incredibly kind and a pleasure to have around, he is the sort of young horse that is a joy to produce, combining a willing attitude with genuine quality and plenty of ability. Bred by the late Queen Elizabeth II, Lumi is by Let The Lion Roar (by Saddlers Wells) out of the thoroughbred mare Candoluminesence. He has lovely breeding to back up his natural talent, but it is his temperament and attitude that make him stand out. He has been backed and lightly produced and, over the last couple of months, has done a little bit of everything, taking it all in his stride. He is brave, genuine and willing, with a fantastic attitude to his work. He has a careful, scopey jump and moves well in all three paces, giving him all the attributes to develop into a really smart little event horse. Lumi would suit someone looking for a quality young horse to produce and bring on through the grassroots levels, with the potential to go further in the right hands. He is still young and green, so will need a kind, knowledgeable home willing to give him the time and education to fulfil his potential. He has plenty to learn, but the raw ingredients are all there. His temperament extends to the ground, where he is exceptionally kind and easy to have around. He is straightforward to handle in the stable and field, easy to load and travel, and has no stable vices. Lumi is offered for sale only because we are overstocked, and we would love to find him a really good home where he can be given the time and opportunity to develop into the horse we believe he can be. He is not a finished product and is not suitable for a novice, but for someone wanting a lovely young horse to produce, he is an exciting prospect. A kind, brave young horse with quality, scope and a lovely attitude, a super grassroots eventer in the making, with the potential to go a long way in the right hands. We would love to find him a home that will enjoy producing him as much as we have enjoyed getting him started. Please see the video below and his Facebook page for regular video and photo updates: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61594185503956 Open to vetting. Has a small cosmetic bump from a field injury but does not affect his soundness or performance.
