Wanted safe, experienced eventer 7–14yo, 15.2–16.2h for competent teenager in private experienced home

The right horse would be grassroots eligible and have an excellent cross-country record to 90/100cm. We are looking for a genuine, sensible and forgiving horse that knows its job, enjoys competing and will look after its rider while allowing him to progress. Ideally straightforward to handle, hack and travel, and safe in open spaces and in competition environments. He is a capable, hard-working and committed young rider who trains regularly with experienced instructors. He is keen to learn, takes direction well and will put the work in, but we are not looking for an overly sharp or inexperienced horse. We offer a knowledgeable, caring and long-term private home in Central Scotland with excellent facilities, extensive turnout, good grazing, lots of equine company and regular professional instruction. The horse’s welfare and happiness will always come first, and references are available. Our horses enjoy a varied life with competing, training, hacking and lots of grazing. Open to a horse coming slightly down the levels, provided it is sound, safe and genuinely suitable for a teenager. A knowledgeable and loving home is waiting for the right horse.
