Fabulous Hunting / Pony Club Pony

14.1hh, 12 year old Connemara mare. Brilliant hunting pony, will do rallies and camps all day long.

Bella is a fabulous trail hunting pony and a really cool pony club pony. She will and has competed very successfully up to 90cms but she is inconsistent and therefore not suitable for a competitive pc home. She is brilliant at rallies and will jump everything and anything, great ridden bare back, stands in the middle of the field to be vaulted on - just generally very cool. She is bomb proof in traffic, not strong or silly hacking but is infinitely capable of taking the mickey as and when it suits her. She is not a mareish mare (wouldn’t even know she is in season) but she is typically opinionated! Perfect to shoe, clip, load and travel but a monkey to lead on a headcollar. My daughter worships her but she wants to go out and compete regularly at 90cms / 1m which is not where Bella is happy. She has hunted with the Cattistock regularly and twice this season with the Beaufort. Hunting is truly her happy place, she loves it. She stands at the meet, doesn’t rush at her fences, happily jumps everything she meets including hedges, rails, walls and ditches. She isn’t a big solid Connemara but she happily carries me so would suit a mother daughter share as well. Hours of video and lots more photos on request.
