Teenager/ small adults dream

Bertie (Birkenhead) 15.1/2hh 2017 Dark bay Gelding Thoroughbred ( very stocky & chunky type) ROR eligible Bertie is a pleasure to have around the yard, easy to do in all ways used to a toddler, Pram, bike, scooter ect on a daily basis. He is currently living out but happy to be stabled. Since finishing racing at the begining of May we have slowly been retraining him, he schools in a lovely soft outline in all 3 paces, absolute WOW factor to look at. He hacks alone or in company and good in all traffic ( can get a bit joggy on bridleways in large groups, nothing my teenage daughter cant cope with) he always has his little ears pricked and enjoys going new places, happy to go in front or behind. He has a super trainable mind and just wants to please his jockey, would suit a small adult or teenager wanting to put there own stamp on ready to get out competing next year, he would suit a range of disaplines. He has been ridden whilst with us by a few different jockeys and whilst always safe and sencible a more competent jockey gets the best work out of him in a outline and using his body correctly ( he will happily plod around no contact with a more novice rider on ) He has seen coloured poles and popped a few x poles without any silliness or spookiness. He went to his first arena hire this week and was foot perfect the whole time, didnt bat a eye lid at anything. He hasnt bucked, reared or bolted whilst been with us. He's a cheeky chappy full of personality first to the gate follows you round all day, has your zip, pocket or sleeve in his mouth if theres a whiff of a treat around.
