16hh 18yo ISH. Super smart, leg in each corner type with not too much bone. Hamilton is dead easy to look after. Lives off fresh air. Will live in our out. Stands to be clipped, tail pulled, hogged. Hacks alone or in company (all by head torch before work)! He will hunt all day long until dark. If you want a smart, low maintenance hunter that loves it just as much as you, Hamilton is your boy. He is perfect with hounds, stands at the meet & on point, tolerates a queue, leaves the field & is a careful jumper over anything: hedges, ditches, trappier the better – he does it all no questions asked. He wants to get on with the job so would not suit a mature rider or a mother wanting to lead a pony. I’ve had him for nearly 5 years and enjoyed 6 glorious seasons with him inc The Duke of Beaufort. He’s previously hunted with AVH, field mastered for Portman, Mendip Farmers and before that in Ireland. We’ve team chased, XC schooled and he’ll jump a good course of show jumps so would do low level riding club/ODE. Will come with full wardrobe inc rugs & saddle etc. Don’t be put off by his age, he has no intention of slowing down yet. Only treatment he has is hocks injected annually.
