Piccolo | 14.3hh | 15 years | Danish Sports Pony

Piccolo is a lovely pony with a huge personality and a kind, affectionate nature. He’s easy to manage on a small private yard, enjoys a quiet routine, and is a pleasure to have around. For this reason, we feel he would be happiest in a similar private home rather than a big livery yard. He has an excellent all-round education, having previously competed up to Medium dressage and 1m showjumping and cross-country. As he’s now older, he much prefers a quieter life and is happiest jumping around 70–80cm and working at Novice dressage level. Hacking is where Piccolo really shines. He is confident both alone and in company, happy to lead or follow, sensible in heavy traffic, and not the spooky type. He has a soft mouth, is always ridden in a snaffle, and is never strong. Piccolo isn’t a pony for a novice rider. In the school he can sometimes be reluctant to go forwards on the flat and benefits from a confident, positive rider who will ride him from the leg. Once he’s working, he is enjoyable and willing. He is good to shoe, clip, bath, travel, and is straightforward to handle. Selling on behalf of his owner who has owned home for 2 years.
