Kev (Cervin) A striking, French bred 6-year-old gelding by Holy Roman Emperor, out of a Dark Angel mare. He stands at 16hh and is 6 years old. Kev has enjoyed a well-travelled international racing career, eventually making his way to Hong Kong, where he enjoyed a successful spell on the track. Now retired from racing, he's settling brilliantly into his new life in West Wales. Standing at approximately 16hh, Kev is an eye-catching gelding with plenty of presence and beautiful markings. He is a complete gentleman to handle, with a kind temperament and laid-back attitude around the yard, making him a pleasure to have around. Having enjoyed a lovely summer holiday turned away at grass, Kev is now back in work and is proving to be an absolutely cracking ride under saddle. He has a lovely soft mouth, works sweetly and willingly, and has a fantastic attitude. With a little more tuning up and experience under his belt, I genuinely think the sky's the limit for this horse. He hacks alone and in company, is bold and brave and has travelled well when taken out and about on adventures. He loved the sea at the beach last week and behaved well in a group of horses. Kev has a small splint on his left fore, but is otherwise blemish free. He is a sound, athletic horse with beautiful movement, a trainable brain and a lovely temperament.
