Second groom for the Devon and Somerset Staghounds

The Devon and Somerset Staghounds require a second groom for the 26/27 season.

This is a full time position based in the beautiful village of Exford in the heart of Exmoor, Somerset. There is recently refurbished accommodation shared with one other on the yard, with a large en-suite bedroom. The village has a shop and two pubs. The role will involve yard work, turning out horses on hunting days (training provided) and lots of riding including riding second horse for hunt staff. This is a rewarding job and you must enjoy working as part of a team. You will need to be a confident rider, hard working and most importantly have a cheerful ‘can do’ attitude.
