Gracie

Gracie is a beautiful 15.1 liver chestnut mare who will turn 7 this summer. She has not done a lot for her age, but will go on to make a super allrounder or fun hunter. Gracie works sweetly in the school and although not built for dressage tries her best to please and is obedient to ride. She is nicely forward thinking and not strong. Gracie really enjoys her jumping and will pop round a course of 70/80 SJ fences. She’s adores XC and is brave and bold, happy over all solid fences, ditches, water etc. Very much point and shoot. We think Gracie would be a lot of fun to take out hunting as she has a sensible brain and happily grows another leg to get herself out of trouble! Grace loves her hacking both alone and in company. She is happy to go first or last and is good in traffic. Gracie is a good doer who will happily live out 24/7 but is also fine in a stable. She is good with other horses and has been turned out with both mares and geldings without any issues. She is good to catch, load, shoe etc. Gracie is low mileage and green for her age. She can be seen on livery where she has benefited from lots of ground work and schooling. Gracie was initially anxious around mounting and dismounting. She is now easy to get on and off in all situations, both at home and when away. However, any potential owners will need to have the experience to continue her education, providing consistent handling so that she understands the boundaries and what is expected of her. For this reason, Gracie is not suitable for a novice owner. Gracie does not buck or rear and has never unseated a rider in all her time with us. Gracie has a sweet personality and would love a special person to build a bond with. Reasonable offers will be considered to see Gracie settled in the perfect home. Seen at livery.
