Super Grassroots Horse

Beautiful 7yo ISH gelding. Ideal Grassroots prospect - 5/5 DC at BE90. Always in top few after dressage. A lovely horse.

'Tim' is a 7yo Irish Sport Horse (Prince Flori x Carrick Diamond Lad). Very sad sale of a much-loved boy. He has been backed and produced professionally in the same home, but rider feels that he is too spooky in SJ phase to go up the levels and sadly doesn't have the time to put into him now. He has plenty of scope and a great technique so is very comfortable at 90/100 level - has jumped 5/5 double clears at BE90, further double clears at BE100 & clear in his first Newcomers (1.10) last year. BE results: 1st West Wilts BE90 (28dr) 2nd Gatcombe BE90 (29dr) 4th Moreton Morrell BE100 (31dr) 5th, 7th Swalcliffe BE100 (29, 30dr) 8th Sapey BE90 (25dr) Attractive horse who catches the eye and always scores well on the flat - usually within 1/2 marks of the leader after dressage (PB 25 &, lead AUW BE100 on 27 (only sub-30 score)). Well-schooled up to Elementary level with established rein back, leg yield, mediums etc. Great XC horse, forward and looks for the flags, bold into water, with ditches etc. Has jumped round Novice BE tracks at Aston (training event) & Larkhill (XC schooling) with ease. A lovely horse to have around and a real yard favourite. Good to load, travel, shoe, teeth, clip etc. Hacks alone & in company. Price reflects physical disadvantages - happy to discuss history.
