WANTED: Looking for Mr. Reliable - Hacking Home

I am on the hunt for a stocky gelding, cob, cob cross, or Irish Draught, hunter. 15.2 hh+

Looking for a quiet gentleman, ideally the only thing ‘forward’ would be its ears, a ‘leg on’ ride required. Irish rugby player build that is up for adventures, spend lots of time 1-2-1 and be ready to settle into a slow-paced farm life. 15.2 hands and above (ideally 6’6ft rugs as have a considerable wardrobe ready) Any colour (ideally not grey) Any age, all the way from old head/young shoulders to golden oldies - personality is key. Must enjoy hacking and exploring alone, with an outgoing personality – no ‘scooting’, not need ‘confidence’ from rider, been there and done that kind of ride. To enjoy sponsored rides, exploring the Chilterns, longer hacks, possibly autumn hunting, and day trips – but no competition pressure. A trustworthy personality which adores fuss and attention (Grooming is a therapy of mine). Ideally comfortable around dogs, Happy to travel in a trailer, Willing to accept some veterinary history for the right horse. About me: A very kind and loving equestrian, with a traditional mindset, competent, but I need time to trust a new horse, offering a home being kept on our family farm with stables in the garden, WFH most of the week, turnout can be 24/7 all year round if needed, access to hacking on 300+ acres with minimum traffic. No loans, sensible Budget. I need a new best friend to help me fall in love with horses again!
