Seriously Smart Hunter/ All rounder

Monty has been in the same home for last 6 years and sadly for sale due to change in circumstances and downsizing. He is a very much loved member of the team and far too good to stay at home doing nothing. He has mainly hunted for the last five seasons ( full references available). Only used really for days like opening meet, Boxing Day, NYD and not even one day a week sometimes so has never been overworked! He is fabulous with hounds, rides and leads, stands on point, will go on opposite hill sides and watch from distance, go up front , middle or back doing gates - he is awesome to climb on from a gate / wall/ fence etc. Has looked after lightweight lady rider for a while so mainly jumped timber and ditches not big country. He has been with me a couple of months now. I hunted him and loved him. My teenage daughter has been reminding him that coloured fences aren’t scary and he just keeps getting better and better. Took him XC schooling which he loved , off steps in to water and off banks are his specialty. Monty moves beautifully, enjoys his flatwork so would not be out of place in the ring or between white boards. He knows he looks good and always rides in a snaffle. Hacks alone/ in company. So easy to do at home, clip, pull mane etc. Don’t be put off by his size even if you’re a small lady as he is lovely to ride. He is a sports horse , well schooled and very mannerly hunter but wouldn’t like a novice rider or someone heavy handed. Home is very important to his owner ( and me)! Clean limbed and open to any vetting. Fit and ready for someone to enjoy. Please see video below.
