Celery 15.1hh chunky cob X NF/TB Sire is show cob 'The Scoundrel' Rising 6 years old. I purchased her as a 3 year old from a friend so full history known. Backed as a 4 year old and slowly and carefully produced. Celery has done pole clinics, SJ clinics, x-country clinics, hunted last season with a competent teenage girl (Royal Artillery Hunt). Hacks beautifully alone and in company. Good in traffic. Great manners on the ground, will come in stand and tie up alone, easy to clip, good for the farrier, good to load (we have a lorry but she has also been in a trailer with no issues). Great attitude, fantastic x-country has popped everything both times out, she has a lovely trot and will easily hold a nice outline. Her attitude to jumping is bold and she will go even if unsure about something scary which I love and has made this decision so much harder! She is not yet completely balanced in the canter, we do not have a school so her schooling has very much been limited to what we can do out hacking and at lessons/clinics. She has not been hammered, over jumped or over worked being given time to mature physically and mentally. She does have a small lump on her back, the vet has looked at it and said leave well alone as it causes her no issues. Up to date with jabs, teeth etc. Selling her as she is just too green for my kids who are not competent enough riders to continue her education and have outgrown their ponies sooner than expected. Sadly I just do not have the time or money to continue with her education and enjoy her when I'm spending all my weekends either working or providing a taxi service for the kids so I can't keep her just for me, if money wasn't an issue I'd be buying them something a bit older with more experience and keeping her to have some fun on! She very occasionally can have a green baby moment, these are few and far in between and I can count the number of times she has on one hand, but for this reason no novice or nervous riders. She will be the most fantastic fun riding club/pony club/all rounder for someone who is willing to put the time into her. She has a fantastic attitude and has been a pleasure to have around.
