Super 7 Year old Irish Draught Mare

Chestnut Irish Draught Mare, rising 7, 17hh Calypso is a super horse, and has lovely paces, she has been nicely ridden on the flat. Scopey, but green, has a careful jump and is bold with all the coloured fences in the arena. She has been left to mature last summer and now has hunted all winter, she’s now doing some Small shows and training days. She has competed successfully around 80cm - 90cm tracks. This mare is a super Hunter and she will go first or last without pulling or getting strong. She usually leads my son on his pony. She has been XC schooling, and done hunter trails, ODE with me proving to be good with rails, going on and off the banks and was happy to jump both in and out of water. She’s naturally talented although still green. Calypso has a confident and easy attitude to her work and rides politely in a snaffle bridle at all times, she is a lovely horse to hack out and will happily go alone or in company and is extremely good in traffic - she will happily ride past lorries , bikes, tractors etc without turning a hair. Kindest of horses to handle and is easy to catch, tie up, groom, bath, load etc and is good to both clip and shoe. A lovely horse that is charming to have around and is easy to ride and is reliable and gentle. She will ride and lead and be lead when ridden. She will continue her education until sold.
