    6yo 16.3hh RID Mare. Kind, sensible mare who will make a great allrounder or mother/daughter share. Based Merseyside.

    Beautiful Dapple Grey RID mare with a full Class 1 pedigree and green passport. “Darla” is a special mare - that rare sort who is sensible enough for a novice, but has enough class to be enjoyed by a more experienced rider. She has a kind, trainable temperament, and is a lovely horse to work with. I'm 5' 3" and do everything with her on my own. Howling wind, tractors in the yard, she's not bothered. Good to mount, bath, clip and shoe. Darla has 3 comfortable, balanced paces and doesn't ride "big" at all. Does everything in a snaffle. Happily jumping small courses with scope to improve. She has hunted in Ireland, and also hacked, showjumped and done fun rides. She hacks out alone, although prefers company. This is improving every day. She’s good with traffic, bikes, dogs etc. She’s been in the family since 2yo so a good home is essential. Open to any vet.
