👀 🏡 A advert I have been putting off for a very long time 😢🙈 16.2 6yr old ID grey gelding Very sad sale of much loved “Puddy” I sourced puddy for my step dad as a 3yr old from Ireland , he came to me then to be turned away for the winter to grow and develop got him back in as a 4yr old and lightly hunted , then done 2 seasons hunted , hunted about 6 times each season proving to be mannerly standing at the meet and good with hounds and other horses and hunted in a snaffle . Hunted with Buckhounds, fox hounds and stag hound packs This summer my step dads hips have given up on him there fore he has given up riding, I have had puddy as a nanny all summer to youngsters leading them about and leading XC schooling ext , he’s done some showing and very successfully he won at country level , and scooped up all the local shows to us. He’s schooled around flagged courses of 90cm and a few at 100cm with scope to go further He’s nicely schooled and has balanced paces Easy and good to do in all ways traffic, catch, clip, load, trim, shoe and so on! Not phased by fillers , water, ditches or steps No vices Has been ridden by all ability’s , never reared or bolted but has put in the odd excitable buck, but been hunting 3 times this season so far and hasn’t bucked or put a foot wrong, he’s a very good doer so lives on hay grass and fresh air! Can be a bit balshy in hand at times but mainly when his dinner is at the other end of the rope!! Done a few unaff show jumping and been to pony club and riding club clinics with my step sisters daughter. For 6yrs old he’s an old head on young shoulders, can be seen with me at my yard near Barnstaple , puddy is worth every penny and will give someone years of fun and enjoyment. I feel puddy would excel in either the showing world , could be a teenagers fun Eventer, could go hunting and equally could be someone’s pet , he’s a absolute legend , he will only go to the very BEST of homes , we will miss him dearly. First to see will buy. Fit clipped up to date on vaccinations and shoeing , ready to go.
