One not to be missed!

Romeo 16.1hh 4yo Brown TB Gelding. A smart genuine super straightforward quiet type who is looking for his new person.

Romeo was in point to point training last season but has shown no desire to be a racehorse so is unraced. He has been on his holidays since and just come back into work over the last few weeks. He does basic flatwork, he has three balanced paces with a big rocking horse canter. He carries himself beautifully and really catches the eye. He hasn’t done much flatwork previously so is a big baby in some ways but is naturally very good so you wouldn’t know it. He is a total kick along, soft in the mouth and not strong whatsoever. He has been to an arena hire and happily popped a course of small showjumps including a variety of fillers and a water tray. He is green but genuine. He will give anything a go. He looks but just needs his hand holding and the revs keeping up. He has a careful scopey jump and didn’t touch any poles. He has also been cross-country schooling which he once again took all in his stride. Jumping all the basics including a ditch and conquered water with no hesitation. He is more slow than go in all ways and as close to bombproof as you’ll find! A kick along in all ways, he’s not one to over exert himself. Having said that I’m sure someone could spark him up a bit if desired. He is a total love bug, loves affection and food. He’s not fussy and will eat as much as you give him. He’s well mannered with a kind character. He has got a lot of character and likes to be the centre of attention. He’s always the first to come in the field. He has hacked out alone or in company around fields & lanes. Seen most types of traffic but he’s mainly lived in the countryside. He is a very easy going person, never buzzy or silly. Good to shoe, clip, box & travel. Can be tied up in the yard. No previous injuries. No sarcoids. No blemishes. No lumps or bumps. No vices. He’s a homebred so all history known. He will need to be officially named at buyers expense to become ROR registered and I believe I can provide a letter to prove he has been in training. No loans. No trials. No payment plans. No timewasters or day trippers we are a busy yard. Serious enquiries only.
