Lovely 16.1 Hunting Mare

Very lovely mannerly and experienced hunting mare looking for her new home. Very sadly for sale before A levels/Uni.

Pepsi is a beautiful mare with exquisite manners and is an absolute pleasure to own. She has been owned and ridden for the last 3 years by my daughter who was 14 when we got her. They have done everything over this time but Pepsis heart lies in hunting not competing. Although 17 she is in perfect health and exceptional shape and look/feels much more like a 9yo! After her sj career she hunts 5 seasons in big country and then 3 seasons trail hunting. She is a big strong forward-going mare who likes to be up and going but is polite enough to wait her turn. She is an extremely talented jumper with real power and scope. Hunting is where her heart is though and although we have taken her competing this is not what she enjoys. A full PC/Eventing home is not what she is looking for although some relaxed RC over the summer would be fine. She is extremely easy to keep, never sick or sorry and turns out alone and in mixed herds. There is nothing naresh about her in the slightest. She quietly avoids trouble and is a genuinely kind horse. She has been cherished for the last 3 years and is up to date with all physio/dental/saddler appts. She has the most amazing feet and is a delight for the farrier. Pepsi has been hound exercising and autumn hunting already this season and is fit and ready to go come Olenjng meet. She is brilliant to hack and inflapoable in traffic and hacks down a busy road most days. She can be ridden as much or as little as necessary and doesn’t change her behaviour. She schools nicely at Novice level and can produce a nice if slightly tense test. We are not in a rush but wanted to start the search and she will continue hunting until the right home is found. Pepsi is offered with her full wardrobe including all tack and rugs including saddle. Please ring and we can answer any questions or anything not covered above.
