Fabulous Allrounder

Very special and very consistent homebred 16.1hh 9yo gelding. Anglo Arab (Om El Bahreyn x Pollywog x Bollin Terry)

PUDDLEDUB DIFDAE Difdae is a very special homebred gelding looking for a new home. Dark bay, 9yo Anglo Arab approx. 16.1hh. He has just returned from another successful Caledonian Showing Championships, taking the Arab Championship, winning the Workers Top Score and a creditable 3rd behind two professional riders in the Large RH class ridden by a teenager who only had sat on him for the first time the evening before. Having been 2nd in the huge Novice Workers at Scone in ’25 we opted for an event season in 2026 which he completed with clear XC each outing at BE90 and BE100 including a win at South of Scotland. He is offered to a special home where he will make the most superbly versatile and fun alrounder. Imagine your dilemma when working out your competition diary with so much choice of disclipines. He is not going to win HOYS but will not be disgrace in a Large Riding Horse qualifier, and could be a contender for the Ladies. He won’t go to 3* eventing but will give you huge fun at lower levels with a very nice dressage, and superb Cross Country … although his record shows the SJ can be a little hit or miss, but you can’t be good at everything! On top of that he is a very kind, affectionate chap who would be your best friend at home as well as your rosette collecting partner. No lengthy working in required and still perfectly sensible if not ridden every day. Very sensibly priced as with a winter of indoor dressage, showjumping, showcross and arena events I would like to see him in his new home as soon as possible to build up a special relationship. As I not only bred him, but also his dam and owned his grandsire, it is really important to me that he has the best home going forward …… if you feel he could be your next partner in crime then contact me or Douglas Crawford where he can be viewed near Hawick in the Scottish Borders.
