This beautiful 8yo gelding by Newmarket Venture is the kind of horse that ticks every box. We have spent 3 months assessing every aspect of his world and during that time he has given our young rider some very valuable showjumping experience and he is now available for sale. He has the most unbelievable temperament, and whilst he has the scope for a professional he would be an amateurs dream horse and would be a very serious contender for Badminton Grassroots competitors. At 17h, he would be ideal for a tall lady or light gentleman rider, however he is currently ridden by 2 small 5’6” ladies. He is as careful as a cat and in 5 shows he hasn’t touched a pole, he has auto changes and really is a point and shoot you literally can’t get it wrong. By the top event stallion Newmarket venture he has all the blood to gallop and covers the ground with ease, he’s light on his feet, well balanced and a dream to ride. He has also hunted and goes everywhere in a loose ring snaffle, hacks alone and in company, good to travel and behaves beautifully when away from home, he’s friendly in the field with other horses, good to shoe etc. This would be the ultimate horse for a rider to spend building a relationship with over the winter with a view to aiming to qualify for Badminton 2027.
