16.3 hunter / all rounder sports horse *Bargain*

16.3hh, 7yo black gelding. Very honest advert, please read fully before enquiring. Angus has been professionally produced, has good paces, carries himself nicely and is a super brave, bold jumper. He will jump anything put in front of him… and I mean anything! poles, hedges, timber, ditches, wire etc. He’s safe, assured and measured over his obstacles and would give you a tremendous day on the hunting field over big country and is a proper head turner. Angus was produced to event but became sour to the eventing routine so would be more suited to a hunting / team chasing / all rounder lifestyle. He is good to hack alone or in company and is a good doer. He has good manners on the ground but can occasionally pull grumpy faces in the stable. He can also have a little nap when hacking alone but he’s not malicious and easy to correct - he can also be fidgety when getting on from a mounting block but not nasty and is very patient once you’re on him. Angus is a nice ride but needs a confident and experienced rider (no children) to ensure you get the best from him. Snaffle mouth. Angus is a gentleman on the ground. Good to shoe, clip, catch etc and deal with on a daily basis. He’s good to travel and happily stands on a lorry alone etc, good in all traffic. Angus has been on hound exercise, fun rides, unaffiliated show jumped, attended combined training, training shows and has hunted in his previous home. We will take him autumn hunting over the next few weeks. He isn’t a novice ride but will go far in a experienced home. He is priced to sell and although Angus has a lot of fantastic qualities and a lot of potential, we are realistic about his negatives and is priced accordingly and is very good value for the potential.
