Genuine Old Fashioned Hunter

16.3h 12yo gelding Irish Sports Horse out of Clover Hill and King of Diamonds lines. A genuine gentleman and very striking on the hunt field. Plenty of bone and would carry any weight all day long but is absolutely polite enough for a small lady. Well trail hunted, previously professionally shown, BRC national championships in dressage and attended multiple sponsored rides and clinics. Very quiet to hack. Good in traffic and regularly exercised by all members of the family. He is the same horse to hack alone or in company, at home or away. Behaves perfectly in large groups and open spaces. Also rides and leads/is led and is happy in an arena or at shows. Stands perfectly at the meet and on point. Previously whipped in and is very good with hounds. 100% in all ways on the hunt field. Hunted in a snaffle/universal by small ladies and is never strong. Absolutely fine with other horses both in front and behind - and with ponies! Was borrowed for the farmer's meet having only hunted one day prior and looked after his rider all day. Easy to ride away from the field and will hack home/to the lorry quietly alone. The easiest horse to have on any yard. Good to shoe, catch, wash, plait, load and can be clipped without a headcollar. This is a very sad sale of a much loved family hunter.
