15hh, 12 year old Connemara Gelding

Looking for a new home due to current owner’s work commitments. Aztec loves his job and has hunted for the last few seasons with the Cambridge University Drag Hounds. He’s bold and brave to a fence, never stops and loves to be up front. Good with hounds and other horses. He’s equally as happy hacking out regularly alone or in company. Aztec is a big character with lots of personality and so much to give his next owner at this stage of his life. Over the seven years I have owned him, he’s enjoyed a varied life including Pony Club and Riding Club activities, clinics, hunting and fun rides. He happily jumps around 90–100cm and is a fun horse to take out and about. He is good to catch, clip and shoe, and is up to date with his dentist, physio and vaccinations. He has a splint on his front left leg, which has been examined and given the all-clear by our vet. Loading requires a confident handler and may need some patience initially with a new owner. He loads well on to our 3.5T lorry which has a side-loading ramp. Once loaded he travels very well. Aztec is a horse with a huge personality, he is not a novice ride but has so much to offer to the right home. He comes with his full wardrobe of tack and rugs, including an Arena GP saddle.
