Athletic 5yo RoR mare with scope and temperament to excel in low level competition

Isla is a striking 5year old 16.1hh Thoroughbred mare (Ramara x Bungle in the Jungle) with huge potential for the right rider. She is athletic, forward thinking, active and already showing real talent that could make her an excellent competition horse in the future. While she’s a lovely mare, Isla does need consistency and time – something I unfortunately can’t give her at present. She has been ridden and competed by a confident 14 year old and absolutely loves her jumping. She is bold, careful, and keen to get on with the job. With the right consistent education, Isla has all the makings of a super all-round competition horse, whether in eventing, showjumping, or riding club activities. She hacks both along and in company. Comfortable in heavy traffic and around farm machinery. As a retired racehorse, Isla is not a novice ride, but for someone looking for a quality young horse to bring on, she will be very rewarding. She has seen hounds, behaved well and stood well at the meet. She regularly attends riding club lessons and had attended ROR/TAP clinics (she is booked into a few more over the coming weeks). She is sensible on the ground and handled by a 10 year old. She travels alone and in company and happy stand on the trailer and wait her turn.
