Striking little Coblet with huge potential

Very sad sale of this striking little coblet that we've now outgrown. Henry has been with us for three years and is progressing well. Now needs a confident jockey to continue his education. Not a novice ride but would make ideal second pony Henry loves hacking out, point and go, no silly behaviour, napping or spinning. Good in traffic, buses, tractors. Snaffle mouth and has never tanked off. Happy to go alone or in company, he will go first but due to the age of the rider he's used to following a bigger horse or a person walking. Steady away, will go faster when asked and as near to bombproof as you get. Henry has been brought on slowly by a child when we bought him at 5 and is a true all rounder. He has regular lessons, not working in an outline but will get there. Completed intro and prelim dressage with some lovely comments. Super jump but needs a confident, capable rider to bring this out in him, he has jumped clear many times up to 60cm. Has done some showing, stood well in the line up and never giddy in the go around. Henry loads well onto the wagon or trailer, never fidgets and doesn't get giddy when he goes somewhere new. Will happily stand with hay in the box. Stable manners are good if you’re firm, but he can push boundaries if allowed to get away with things. He will live in or out with a mixed herd. Excellent to clip, barefoot and good to trim. Dentist can be tricky without sedation but we've managed. Must go to a knowledgeable home. Henry is 90% straightforward but there is a cheeky pony in him that will drag you to that special patch of grass! Or decide that schooling in the arena is not for him today so will put in a cheeky buck. If kept in check he'll stop straight away, if not hell take the entire mile! He hasn’t shown this behaviour for a couple of years, and we put it down to baby behaviour, but as he's most likely going to a child we're being completely honest. We've loved owing Henry for 3 1/2 years, had great fun and laughs, it is a genuine sad sale. Please ask any questions and we'll always be honest. Good home essential with potential to keep in touch.
