Sonny- Bold & brave 12.3hh gelding - loves MG, Polocrosse and Pony Club

Sonny- well known polocrosse and games pony, fast and fun! 19 years old, 12.3hh Welsh x NF. Sadly outgrown.

Sonny is a well known polocrosse pony, Best PJ Pony in 2025, playing numerous championships including twice in the Four Nations Home International, has played in horseball tournaments, and also loves mounted games including PC areas and zones, and several county show demonstration competitions. Sadly outgrown now, he’s looking for a new home to continue to have fun! He’s speedy and forward going, not for a very nervous child, but there’s no malice in him at all and he’s unflappable in traffic, not spooky, great to handle. Hacks alone and in company, pens and stables at stay aways shows happily, good to clip, shoe, load, travel etc. Been in Pony Club homes, done all PC rallies and camp, been hunting up front all day with the Belvoir, beach rides, forest trips, cross country lessons, music drill riding, including being used as a demo pony for stable management. Even coming second at Cheltenham in his first ever pony race! He rides and leads off any size horse, and turns out alone or in company with mares or geldings. Sonny has made our daughters very very happy girls, given them experiences beyond their imaginations, and we would love for him to find his place in a super home to continue doing what he does best. He has a slight heart murmur which we have known about since he was 11 years old. Therefore he will not pass a vetting. However, it has never affected him in any way at all. In view of this, the asking price is substantially lower than it would otherwise be for a pony of this calibre. We would love to stay in touch- he is very special! He will come with his wardrobe and tack.
