Pony Club Ponies
Description
Beautifully balanced paces. She loves being out and about doing a job - hacking, showing, stay away shows, beach rides, mounted games and all Pony Club activities. She is a very independent little mare who will load and travel on her own, hack alone (amazing in all traffic) or lead from another horse. She will stand happily all day on the lorry or at shows and takes everything in her stride. Blossom also has a lovely jump and clearly enjoys it. We haven’t done much jumping but she did load with her previous owners, she was second at the NSEA Hickstead Champs at 40cm last year amongst loads of other rosettes. @hatties_pony_tales (first pony (Blodyn- aka Blossom) on grid - jumping in tiles xc / Hickstead!) LOVELY BALANCED PACES She maintains a consistent, balanced pace and is an ideal pony for developing a child’s position and balance. Blossom holds her head so nicely it’s easy for the little ones to look good. She is responsive in her steering and really understanding with little ones pulling her each way. More woah than go. Snaffle mouthed and never strong. A LITTLE PC ALL-ROUNDER Blossom is such a smart and beautiful little mare. Her primary job with us has been on the LR for my 5 year old. She has had a fantastic, busy summer being placed at every show she has attended, winning many classes and championship pony sashes, which my daughter just loved. She has also done lots of lead rein rallies at the pony club. Off lead: with us she has been hacked out by an 8 year old ( she LOVES hacking ) who also took her to pony club camp this summer. At camp- Blossom won both the dressage and the overall camp cup. Loads of potential here. WHY A NEW HOME? She’s come to us a few years too early. I bought her for my five-year-old daughter as a lead rein / first ridden pony to progress her off her mini Shetland. She has been a brilliant LR Pony for us but she hasn’t the experience for a true FYFR (which is what I really need). Off the lead she needs instruction rather than is able just predict what a wobbly passenger is asking and she can be a cheeky Welsh 🥰. My daughter is desperate to keep her - she is convinced she’s a unicorn with her white eyelashes. It will be at least a year or so until we can maximise the potential Blossom has off lead for my 5 year old. We keep Blossom at home without an arena, so from October she’ll be moving to a nearby sales livery yard with excellent facilities. This will mean she can be properly seen and ridden on trial, without my daughter watching on 🥹💔 Great for farrier and vet, easy to catch (trots/ canters up). She’s been in a small mixed herd on her own and just with mares - all fine. Top end of four figures – right home with experience is important. Please see video below
