Description

Beautiful cob mare just turned 14yrs, 13.2 consistent intro to jumping schoolmistress.
13.2, 14yrs, 4 years owned and loved. Non-marish mare who has taken my son from lead rein to consistently jumping clear sj up to 60cm. She has a lovely rhythm over a course in trot or canter making her perfect for learning to jump. She also happily pops ditches, banks and all rustic fences. She is not a dressage pony but has had regular flatwork/pole lessons. She hacks alone or in company and is bombproof in traffic. She is no different after a week off. She is happy in the stable and turned out with company or alone. Although, I would want her to have company over the fence at least. She has attended 3x pony club camps with us. She settles instantly and is also relaxed at a competition. My children load, lead, brush, wash, clip and tack her up etc. She loves a pamper. She has been barefoot with us and has excellent feet. She is great with the farrier and at having teeth and jabs done and is fully up to date. She had a sarcoid on her rump which was treated with no recurrence 3-4yrs ago. Never sick, sorry or lame. Fit and ready to go. My son has gone from a wobbly novice to confidently competing her, and is always in the ribbons (for consistency rather than speed!). Her only downside is that she can nap when unsure, and when my son got bigger and asked more of her, she would put in a cheeky buck in protest. This is not the reason for sale as my son worked through it and she doesn’t get away with much now! So she will only go to an experienced home where there is a knowledgeable adult to oversee, as she may take advantage with first time owners. Having said that, she will happily potter with a younger child all day long and my daughter has used her for teaching little ones. She comes with a bridle with a neue schule bit and rugs. We keep in touch with her previous owners and would love to know how she gets on in her new home. Lots of videos on request, please WhatsApp me with questions, or for videos, before calling.
