Super kind allrounder/hunter

We have had our darling Cavie since he was a 2yr old, bringing him over from Ireland as an unbroken youngster. He has been a firm yard favourite since arriving with us, and is the sort of horse that just makes you Smile! He is an absolute gentleman to handle in every way, and is handled by the smaller children on the yard daily. Amazing to clip, shoe, lead, groom, tack-up and load in box - trailer, small and large lorries. Goes on a walker and will very happily ride and lead. He is great to hack out, on his own and in company, never heating up. He has show jumped up to 90 and has been on NSEA teams, going to the finals with the Scottish teams. His absolute talent is out hunting, goes first or last, and has hunted with nervous adults and more competant teenager, giving them the very very best of days. Having hunted with the Ledbury, Cotswold vale, west Somerset vale and up in the Scottish Borders with the Duke of Buccleuch foxhounds. He has also whipped in - totally amazing with hounds. He will also lead off a small pony for those mums with little ones just getting going out hunting/hacking. He is used in our special needs equine college for both horsemanship and ridden sessions. Cavie is low mileage as I’ve always ran 3 plus hunters and he has always had the summer off. This is a very very special boy and we are looking for an equally special home with very special people. I’m looking for a hunting home where mum can take him in the week and maybe the son/daughter can take him at the weekend, although I fear mum won’t let them! He really is the man that if you had children, you would want him to be the one they brought home to meet you! Very very difficult sale but we have four other hunters for this season so he won’t get the days out that he so much loves.
