Stunning 16.3 all-rounder with big character

Extremely sad sale of a much loved horse. We’ve had Jay since he was 6 and he’s the biggest character with the boldest heart. Pros: Extremely well mannered. Ground ties and will stand like a rock as you brush, tack up or wander off for however long. Manouevres his body towards the mounting block so you can get on. Picks his feet up with a tap of the leg. Very very responsive to ride, you won’t have to tell him twice. Just think trot and you’re doing it. Loves loves loves jumping and has the most comfortable, confident jump. I have not done anywhere near enough of this with him, I really think he’d excel in this sphere in a home that has more time to do this with him. A dream boy to hack, just the most comfortable chunky ride with the funnest most gorgeous canter. I’ve never really taken him to competitions but I think he’d really do well for someone who wanted to. He’s just keen to do anything really. A forward ride. Cons: He used to get really excited over loads of things when he was younger. It took me months of walking him in hand to get him used to the world around him so now he’s a dream to hack and go anywhere, but I’ve never managed to crack hunting with him, he just got so ridiculously excited and I just gave up trying. He’s very chilled now with up to about 6 or so horses hacking, but lots and lots of running horses on a hunting field just blows his mind. He’s a big boy and he likes to remind everyone in the field that he’s top dog. Can come across as a brute to other horses but it’s all threats and no action. No brutish behaviour AT ALL with humans. Priced sensibly since I haven’t got the rosettes to prove how good he is, but this underestimates his potential - £7k Includes bridle and dressage saddle.
