Superb Connemara Hunter/ Showjump/ Event Mare

Heartbreaking sale of the gorgeous Maeve, who is sadly for sale through absolutely no fault of her own. She is a total hunting machine and absolutely loves to jump! A real point and go type who will lock on, happily jumping hedges, ditches and big timber. She was a late starter in life with very low mileage up until she was 10yrs old. In the last 4 years she has completed 4 seasons with the Kent Hounds, Coakham Bloodhounds and the Mid-Surrey Farmer’s Drag. As well as rides with the South-East Rural Charitable Trust, up to level 4, and field mastered Boxing Day 2025. She has never been sick or sorry, will happily do gate duties, stand to be mounted and even ‘stay’ if you tell her to! Maeve has also been on beach rides, competed in low level eventing, show jumping, riding club camps and came 3rd in her first ever Trec competition last September, qualifying for the Nationals. Maeve works sweetly on the flat, with three balanced paces and with more schooling could produce a lovely test. Although, I feel her true passion is jumping and hunting. She is very easy to do; good to box, clip, shoe, and will happily hack both alone and in company. Maeve is not at all mare-ish and has the best ‘can do’ attitude on life however, she would not be suitable for a novice; she loves a job and has the brain/ scope to do one! This is a very hard and unexpected sale. Therefore, homes will be vetted, as it is paramount that Maeve finds her perfect person. Maeve comes with a full wardrobe and good quality tack, including 2 bridles and a fitted Bates saddle. Please see video below
