Perfect Portia - Fun, Easy & Straight Forward.

Portia is a very sweet, kind & calm little mare, she has done a little bit of everything, XC training, Showjumping 80cm, hunted & also competed unaffiliated. She is a very honest, genuine type, excellent to clip, box, shoe, groom, bath, handle. She is young and green on the flat with her schooling however is coming on very nicely and showing a great willingness to learn, she very much enjoys her work. Portia absolutely loves her hacking, alone or in company, she's a straight forward ride that sets a good active walk, she has been brilliant in traffic, cyclists, dog walkers etc. She's a real keen little hunting mare and has given everyone a good few days hunting bringing you back safely and in one piece, pops all the hunt jumps, stands mannerly, excellent to get on and off, goes first or last. Loves the hounds! Never a drama getting ready in the mornings, stands sweetly to be plaited up. Will wait happily on the lorry. She's brilliant fun XC and was a real saint over her last hunter trial. She has no vices & a soft snaffle mouth. Very much a pleasure to have in the barn, she's happy alone or with company. Always the first to come to the gate, happy to be walked in with another, she's a hardly little mare that will live in or out happily. Excellent turned out with others or alone. Being just 5 we would like to see her with a competent novice who will enjoy her for either fun rides, hacking, low level competition, eventing, hunting, pony club, mother daughter share or small adult rider/allrounder type home. She is very petite but compact. Current rider is a 5'6 and 9.5 stone. A really lovely, sweet little horse that deserves the very best. She has no lumps or bumps.
