🐴ARTEMIS – Talented 9yo Dressage Gelding with Plenty of Potential Vs 16.3hh | 9yo | Bay Gelding | Dressage / Allrou...

Artemis (Arty) is a talented, eye-catching gelding with three lovely paces, plenty of presence and lots of ability. He is a fit, forward-thinking competition horse who would suit a confident, capable rider looking for a horse to progress through the dressage levels, with the added versatility to enjoy other disciplines. Dressage Arty is currently working at Elementary level at home and is confidently established in leg yield, shoulder-in, travers, renvers and walk pirouettes. He has started introducing half-pass and is developing his balance in the simple changes. He has only recently started his British Dressage career and has already shown promising results: 71% – First affiliated Intro test 69% & 66% – Unaffiliated Prelim, including under a listed judge 62% & 63% – Affiliated Prelim, including under a List 1 judge He is registered with BD under the name This Time Next Year Rodney. With his natural ability and established lateral work, he has plenty more to offer as his competition experience develops. Jumping & Hunting Arty has a natural talent for jumping, showing plenty of scope and ability. He is still green in this discipline but has lots of potential for someone wanting to develop him further. He has also been on autumn hound exercise this season, where he has been mannerly, excellent with hounds and thoroughly enjoyed himself. He is strong in the hunting field, so would be best suited to an experienced, confident rider. Breeding Arty is Morgan x Warmblood breeding Sire: Mossrose Triumphant (Morgan) Dam’s sire: Bazaars Texas Dam’s grandsire: Brunswick (Warmblood) Veterinary History Arty passed a five-stage vetting approximately six months ago. The examination identified sidebone and a shadow in one eye resulting from an old field injury. Our vet was not concerned about either finding. During the summer, Arty wore pads to keep him comfortable on particularly hard ground. He would therefore be best suited to a home where his workload can be managed appropriately during prolonged periods of hard ground, with plenty of arena-based work. This has been taken into consideration in his asking price. A genuine sale, with a suitable long-term home being our priority
