Cruise came over from Ireland having done a few quiet days as a four yr old. He trail hunted with me last season starting very green and immature and finished the season Field mastering some good days. He has jumped walls, ditches, timber and hedges - all with ease. Given time over the summer to grow and mature he’s come out this season bigger and stronger ready to take on any task I ask of him - he’s my right hand man! He has a lot of engine and plenty of scope but I like to come home with both of us in one piece so I’ve never pushed him. He FM our Opening meet this season and just keeps giving. At home he’s a big Labrador. The sweetest horse you could ask for. Good to hack, alone / company, shoe, clip, load, travel, stands on the trailer for however long. Always eats and is settled after a big day. Doesn’t get wound up. He’s a big lad with plenty of power, still young and learning so no nervous or novice riders. Only for sale as I have young horses waiting in the wings and hunting liveries to take. Can’t bare to see his sad face when I load someone else and not him. He is too good to leave at home.
