Applicants must have a professional attitude and be competent to work under the Stud Groom in the day to day management of the yard. There is support and daily back up from other onsite staff. A thorough understanding of the care of up to 10 hunt horses and the ability to bring on second horses. Basic veterinary care, plaiting, clipping and capable of maintaining a high standard turnout. Communication skills essential and the ability to work successfully in a team. Good all round riding ability a must and a love of trail hunting and hounds – opportunities to hunt. Good rate of pay with accommodation included. Car licence required and a 7.5t lorry licence is preferable.
