12.2HH, 9YO WELSH PB GELDING - HUNTING/PC/PONY RACING ALLROUNDER

Indy is a seasoned allrounder who has done masses of PC inc camp, jumps 40/50cms qualifying for Hickstead, he is brilliant to hunt, has done mounted games areas and zones, shown at county level and pony raced for two seasons. I am looking for a kind, empathetic jockey aged 8yo upwards for him; he loves having a true partnership with his jockey, in return he will try his heart out for them. Indy is very nicely schooled and responsive so the jockey would need to be established in the seat, no pony club booting needed here! I can stand in the middle of the school and ask him to pop up into canter, he just loves to please. He wouldn’t suit a nervous jockey as I think they’d feed off one another, this said he is not a spooky pony, just attuned. He is definitely a second pony. Indy is very correct, so athletic and moves beautifully. Great in traffic and open spaces, he is that hens teeth type out hunting where he just tucks in behind mum’s horse, goes and stops when they do. Indy is so sweet to do everything with, super easy to have around and loves being fussed and pampered. Shod all round though has super feet. Lives in or out. Nothing medical or management wise. Good to ride and lead, travel etc. This is a sensitive pony who needs an experienced parent to manage life sensibly, in return you’ll get a real Rolls Royce of a pony!
