Jack is an exceptional hunter - safe, brave and careful. He will do anything asked and loves his job. Goes first or last. He will happily go from field mastering one day to leading a pony at the back the next day, and has also hunted hounds. He has jumped round the biggest Leicestershire and Beaufort hedges, but is also perfect to ride on point on his own and trail lay on a hill day. Jumps gates and wire. He really is one in a million. Jack has also evented up to BE Novice level and regularly SJ, he does a super dressage test with lovely paces. He was part of the winning Interhunt Relay team at Peterborough 2 years running. He also paraded hounds at Burghley HT. I have ridden competitively in team chases at Intermediate level and he flies round… there is nothing he won’t turn his hoof to. He is a great hack on his own or in company and perfect to lead ponies off. A mother’s dream but also takes a man out hunting all day. He is well schooled and balanced. Genuine reason for sale and his next home will be thoroughly vetted! I would love him to go to a hunting / allrounder home where he can be used to his full potential. He would also happily do grassroutes eventing and is always level headed and easy to manage at a show. He is never sick or sorry and lives in or out. Easy to do in every way. The children can lead him or ride him bareback in from the field and he is totally trustworthy. Same owner since a 4 year-old and so full history known. Fit and ready to go.
