Stud Groom Position – Old Berks Hunt

Old Berks Hunt is looking for an experienced, reliable and hardworking groom to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of horses and take pride in maintaining high standards of horse care and presentation. The role includes but is not limited to general day-to-day care and management of 6-8 horses, maintaining horses to a high standard including clipping and plaiting. Riding big fit hunt horses. General yard duties and keeping the yard clean and tidy. Working as part of a friendly and professional team Requirements: The successful applicant must be willing, competent and capable to ride fit hunt horses, have good horse-handling skills and experience. They must also demonstrate high standards of turnout and horse care working alongside farrier, vet, physio and nutritionist as required. The must be reliable, hardworking and conscientious and a team player. A HGV licence is not essential, but would be a distinct advantage Package: Competitive salary On-site accommodation and all bills provided.
