Experienced Groom wanted

We are looking for someone who is passionate about horses, takes great pride in their work and has a genuine understanding of the high level of care and attention required when looking after horses within a private family yard. Working as part of the family yard team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day care and management of the horses, ensuring their welfare, health and presentation are maintained to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include: Daily care and management of the horses. Mucking out, feeding and exercising the horses Grooming, tacking up and preparing horses for riding. Turning horses out and bringing them in. Preparing horses for lessons, hacking, schooling and other activities. Maintaining all equipment to a high standard. Monitoring the horses' health, condition and behaviour and reporting any concerns promptly. Assisting with routine veterinary, farrier and dental appointments. Maintaining clean, tidy and well-presented stables, yard and surrounding areas. Ensuring feed, bedding and other yard supplies are properly managed. Helping with the general upkeep and organisation of the yard. Supporting the wider team when required. Previous experience within a private family yard, competition yard or similarly high-quality equestrian environment would be advantageous. This is an opportunity for an experienced Groom to work within a beautiful estate environment, caring for horses to a very high standard and becoming part of a close and dedicated team.
