Fernando is a cracking 15.3 gelding that is looking for a special human to offer him a very special, lifelong LOAN home. He is 5 years old and retires from racing vice free. He has done a fair bit of racing and will be looking for a home where he can enjoy hacking, exploring and potentially the odd low level dressage test. He is absolutely not to be jumped, hunted or team chased. He had has his knees and stifles medicated since he retired, and is sound, happy and loving life as a former racehorse and we're keen for him to remain this way. He would be well suited to someone looking for a best friend to hack around the countryside and enjoy. He goes beautifully in the area, but enjoys hacking more than anything else. He hacks alone and in company happily. He is forward going and loves to be out and about. He walks out nicely and isn't phased by being on his own or in company. He's proven himself to be fantastic in traffic and open spaces and will be heading off to the beach this week for a swim. His owner is keen for him to live his days out on a private yard rather than a busy livery yard. He is to stay under the ownership of his trainer so that his future can always be guaranteed.
