Lead rein pony club and hunting pony

Super lead rein gelding pony, 12 years old, 12 hands, loves his hunting and great for Pony Club.

Cody is 12 year old, 12 hand chestnut Welsh Mountain Pony. Cody is ridden by my 5 year old son both on and off the lead rein. They have trail hunted regularly this season with the Cottesmore. Cody is great on the lead rein and keeps up well with the horses. He has been really reliable cantering on the lead rein, stands well with hounds and not spooked by horses cantering past him at speed. My son often rides back to the lorry at the end of his day off the lead rein. Cody has been to several pony club junior shows over the last year participating in working hunter, show jumping, fancy dress and gymkhana games. Cody went to mini camp last year when my son was 4 and previously with his cousin when she was 6. He has been to lots of pony club rallies and tends to be steady. He is very reliable on the lead rein and behaves well for whoever is leading. Cody is very much a lead rein pony. Cody is good to shoe, clip and load. He is very food motivated so needs managing when there is lots of grass, so he doesn't overeat. He has always lived out with us with two other ponies, one being a mare.
