Description

14.2hh, Rising 5 yo, Grey Registered Connemara Mare. Straight moving and correct.

Sired by Tullaree Casanova out of Ballybrit Grace (by Cloon-Eile Cashel). Green passport, overstamped by the British Connemara Pony Society. Backed as a three year old and shown in hand. Ridden and competed as a four year old. Has been turned away for the winter and is coming back into work now. Consistently scoring over 70% in BD. Has been showjumping and cross country and happily jumped barrels, ditches, steps, water, etc. Never says no. Unphased by coloured poles and fillers. Competed out and about at dressage, showing and eventing on surfaces and on grass - happy and confident in all situations. Has even tried side saddle and dealt with the changes very maturely. Attended the New Year’s Day hunt meet and loved it - sensible, gentle ride and unphased by the atmosphere. Qualified for and competed at the BD Team Quest and My Quest National championships. Hacks alone and in company. Goes in front or behind. Happy in traffic. Very confident and relaxing hack. Doesn’t nap and unphased by parting route from other horses. Good to load, travel, clip, bath, worm, etc. Has been shod in front last summer but kept barefoot happily whilst in lighter work. Good for farrier, dentist, vet, etc. Up to date with vaccinations, teeth and worming. Very easy to care for. Lives out 24/7 unrugged and has only required light feeding over last winter as she began to come back into work. Doesn’t mind being stabled (she has been in the night before competitions and at stay-away shows). Has lived in a mixed herd but happy to be left when others are taken out of the field. Ridden by adults, children, experienced riders and novice riders. Looks after all her jockeys. Will be the perfect pony club pony - a real teams type. So rewarding to work with. Will excel in any sphere. N/HWSD (carrier for HWSD but will never be affected by this - would just need to be careful to not use a carrier stallion if breeding in the future). I bought Juno as a project and have ended up keeping her longer than intended as she is such a joy to have around. I’m not keen on the idea of her going to a complete novice, just because she’s so young, but she’d be a wonderful mother/daughter share or a very rewarding project for a teenager. She’s going to be a superstar in the future and someone will have a wonderful time continuing her education. Tack not included. Please see video below.
