During his ridden career, Harry has completed multiple seasons out hunting. He is a true gentleman out in the field and will stand and wait patiently for as long as required. He has been used to "nanny" younger or inexperienced horses and is excellent with gates. Harry can be ridden at the rear or in the lead however I tend to ride him in a Pelham for security as he can get a little strong, but never silly. Since coming to me he has been used more as an all-rounder, however it is obvious that his heart lies out in the field. Harry has a good jump on him, he is careful and will pop 1.20m at home and is currently training at 90/100. Harry has taken me to the British Riding Club arena eventing championships at Aston Le Walls and has recently qualified for the Horse Events Unaffiliated Eventing Championships 2023. Harry is a delight to have on the yard, he is incredibly easy for the vet / farrier / etc and will load himself into my lorry. Hacks alone and is bombproof with heavy traffic including HGVs and even helicopters. Lives in or out and does not need a routine so is very flexible to fit around you. He is good with children and dogs and he has been ridden in the school and hacked on the roads on the end of the buckle by my very novice boyfriend. He is fully up to date with vaccinations, worming, dentist and farrier.
