APOLLO - 17HH 6 YEAR OLD IRISH SPORTS HORSE (LOCH CRUISE)

Super athletic scopey horse with huge paces, and so much ability. Apollo is the kindest natured easy going horse, a real pleasure to have about the yard, he is fab to bath and groom , the kids lead him back and too from the field, he stands loose to be clipped, generally loves attention , he’s like an over grown Labrador. He has done a bit of everything, been to training shows farm rides and fun rides, beach rides exc he’s done a fair bit of hunting, he’s amazing to hunt, I’ve had the best days on him, he is careful over gates and rails , bold over wire and hedges, brilliant with hounds , stands at the meet , a real pleasure. He came to me from a girl that had him from a friend of mine in Ireland, my friend that had him originally told me to get him because he’s a serious jumper, and that he is , if I could justify any more pet horses he’d stay for sure. He hacks out alone and in company here , great in heavy traffic , loves a canter in the forest , however the girl I had him off said he’d nap on his own, he’s been fine to hack , has napped to go in the arena on the odd occasion with me , a kick in the belly he does just go, I find him very inoffensive, but this is something I think could escalate if he was allowed to get away with it, he’s not a bad egg at all , he loves his work , would come down to the same fence 100 times and not object. He goes well on the flat , jumps round a set of decent sized show jumps , never looky or spooky with fillers , he’s got a good natural way of going which makes him uncomplicated to jump , he’s always going forward with a willingness to the job. As I’ve said He’s a great hunter , but still young , he has so much potential to go on and do any job, he’d event but also careful enough to show jump or just a nice top level allrounder.
